It's been a while.

These photographs are four out of the many black and white images I took last semester. I noticed that I tend to go darker with a high intensity contrast. Some people really like it, other people are probably thinking either I need to get my eyes checked, or that I don't know how to use photoshop correctly. The darkness was intentional, although it was a subconscious thought that did eventually come to the surface. I've always liked the look of high contrast, those bright whites and intense blacks. I guess it's true, I can't please everyone. I'm slowly learning that the only opinion that truly matters is my own. Which is an incredibly difficult idea to grasp, let alone live ones life by it. I hope there's someone out there like me who are attracted to dark photographs like mine. Maybe we can be friends.
